JUNIOR COACH PROGRAM

Junior Coach Program

BTB Soccer Academy understands the importance of transitioning young players into coaching, refereeing, admin and other important roles within our club. In order to have a successful club we must develop the young leaders of tomorrow in all aspects of our club. We take the junior coach and referee development programs as our most important programs that we run each year. One of BTB’s main priority is to develop young players into coaches who understand the BTB way of playing, coaching, and the work we do in the community.

  • BTB runs a free coach mentorship program for players ages 12–21.

  • Junior coaches work with the youngest players from U4–U11.

  • Junior coaches, 16 and older, go through coach training from
    Canada Soccer and BTB staff.

  • Junior coaches, go through a
coaching seminar led by BTB staff.

  • Optional coaching days: Tuesday or Thursday or Saturday

  • Junior coaches will receive a certification for volunteering at the end of each season.
