BTB 2007 HP boys took a plane to Vancouver, BC to play the Vancouver Whitecaps 2007 MLS Next at their home field. The game was a back and forth effort that resulted in both teams creating chances to score. The game finished all leveled at 1-1. Great competitive game by both teams!

BTB 08 HP boys took a plane to play the Vancouver Whitecaps 08 MLS Academy. This was a very competitive contest from the opening whistle. Both teams played hard and created many chances to score. The Vancouver Whitecaps where able to convert on their chances on set pieces. The game ended 5-0 for the whitecaps academy. Great talent on display from both sides.

BTB U21 Player Commits to NCAA Division 1 School Syracuse University
Congratulations to Noah Lechelt for committing to NCAA division 1 school Syracuse university. Noah has worked very hard over the years to get the opportunity where he can train and play with one of the top schools in the United States. TWO BTB SOCCER ACADEMY PLAYERS SIGNED TO A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT
Congratulations to Joshue Ndakala (2004) for signing his first professional contract with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Joshue will be part of the Whitecaps 2 that will play in the newly formed professional league MLS NEXT PRO. Joshue has been part of our academy since he was 11 years old. He trains with the academy every summer since he joined the Whitecaps MLS Academy in 2018 as a 13 year old. We wish Joshue the best of luck on his journey of being a professional soccer player.
Congratulations to Paul Bello Amedume (2003) for signing his first full professional contract with the Pacific FC of the CPL. Paul has accepted a loan move to play for North Texas SC for the 2022 season. Paul will be part of North Texas SC (2nd team of FC Dallas of the MLS) that will play in the newly formed professional league MLS NEXT PRO. Paul has been part of our academy since the very first day in 2013 as a 10 year old. Paul most recently played with our U21 program. We wish Paul the best in his journey as a professional player.
NCAA Division 1 Commitment
Congratulations to Malik Sylvester for officially committing to NCAA Division 1 school Oakland University Men’s Soccer. Only a select few players in the country get to go into a top division 1 program in the United States. Malik has earned the opportunity from all his hard work and commitment over the years.

BTB Full Time Staff Announcement
BTB is proud to announce the first two employees of the academy. This is one of the many steps we continue to take to ensure we provide the best possible environment for every child’s development in the sport and in life. Kondeh and Pius have been apart of the academy from the very start and we could not be happier for the both of them to lead us forward. The two staff will work at the BTB office during the day and continue to work with the players, coaches, and teams on the field.

2021 BTB BALLON D’OR WINNER PAUL BELLO AMEDUME
Congratulations to Paul Amedume for winning the 2021 BTB Ballon D’or as the player of the year. Paul was voted unanimously by the coaches to win the 2021 edition of the award. Paul signed his first professional contract with Pacific Football Club of the CPL. Paul won his first CPL championship this past season. Keep striving Paul!

BTB Announces New Coaching Staff- U21 Program
BTB Soccer Academy is thrilled to announce our Head Coach and Assistant Coaches for the BTB U21 program. Tomi Ameobi will be the program head coach, Allan Zebie and Edem Mortotsi will come on as assistant coaches. All three coaches have incredible experience playing professionally and most recently played with FC Edmonton, where Tomi Ameobi was captain for a number of years. We are thrilled to have them join the BTB family.

Congratulations to BTB Technical Director Kondeh Mansaray and BTB/Juventus player Rayan Elloumi for being awarded the Alberta Soccer Association Award of Merit for 2020. The award is presented to those who have displayed great achievements and brought pride to soccer in Alberta in the past year.
2019 BTB Ballon d'or (Player of the year)
Congratulations to the 2019 BTB Ballon d'or winner Dieu-Merci Michel. Dieu-Merci has been part of the academy since he was 9 years old. Dieu-Merci is a 5x provincial champion, 5x provincial game winning goal scorer, national champion, 2x member of ASA provincial team, member of Gold medal winning Alberta team for western Canada summer games, scorer of over 300 goals in his youth career. Dieu-merci is currently apart of the residency program head by Thomas Niendorf Victoria, B.C.

BTB & TWP Pro-Am game
Congratulations to coach Talal and assistant coach Alphonso Davies for winning the 2019 BTB & TWP Pro-am game. The game was of high quality with almost 600 spectators in attendance to see the professional players from Edmonton perform. MVP for the event was Chance Carter of the FC Edmonton first team.
Toyota U15 Canada Soccer National Champions (2019)
Congratulations to BTB Technical Director Kondeh Mansaray and the BTB Soccer Academy 2004 boys who won the 2019 Canada Soccer Toyota National championship with Impact. Majority of the players trained with BTB for 5 years. BTB ran the technical program for the boys in preparation for their provincial and national winning year.

The 2007 boys won the Calgary Foothills Junior Cup in an intense final versus the host Foothills FC 07. The game was a back and forth effort that ended in a 4-3 win for the BTB 07 boys. Great finals by both teams.

Joseph Ndakala took home MVP of the Calgary Foothills Junior Cup scoring 15 goals in 4 games. Joseph was a beast scoring with his left foot, right foot and his head throughout the weekend.
BTB Black U11 Champions 2019
It was an all BTB finals in the U11 (2008) division. BTB Red came out with their “A” game attacking and defending at a high level. BTB Black was able to take over the game in the 2nd half eventually winning 6-3 in the finals. Great game from both BTB teams.

Ethan Darpoh was a force to be reckon with. His devastating speed, skill and technique allowed him to score 12 goals in 4 games in the tournament.

Canada Soccer U15 Integration Camp
4 boys from the BTB 2004 program were part of the Canada Soccer U15 integration camp hosted through the Vancouver whitecaps in 2019 with Senior Men's coach John Herdman.

Calgary Foothills Junior Cup U10 Champions 2018
The BTB Soccer Academy U10 boys attended their first ever Calgary Foothills Junior Cup. In an unorthodox fashion the U10 boys battled adversity to lift the trophy. Having lost their first match, this group stuck together and became one of the most exciting teams to watch in the tournament. A championship game (7-2 final) was arguably the match of the tournament.

In BTB's first ever attendance at the Calgary Foothills Junior Cup, the U12 boys displayed tenacity and skill. The team brought the BTB Way to Calgary and ended with a perfect record of 4 Wins, 0 loses. Half of this roster was U11 players that were challenged by the BTB staff to play up.

U10 coach's Mike and Kondeh, along with U12 coaches' Pius and Talal with the championship trophies. The smiles on their faces have little to do with those trophies and everything to do with the boys playing the BTB Way. High tempo, high intensity, lots of goals, skills, flair and above all unity as a team. The BTB Technical Director (Kondeh Mansaray) was very pleased in saying "I think we have at least 5 future professional players within these two groups. We are happy that we won but even more happy that we played the right way, the BTB Way".
